I just got my period this moring and I'm schudlued for a Birth control appointment.

after having my daughter i was scheduled to get my birth control shot i went ahead and did so and it seemed to make it better for me lightier and less painful i will tell you that after getting the shot or taking the pills normally you wont see a period quite as often.

It depends on the type of birth control chose to have. If it is the IUD, I think your state right now is best and if it is pills you are going for, it still okay with your period so, you should confirm from you doctor which and if you can use it while having your period.

If it's pill then you start the sunday after you period. Or ask the doctor. That's what mine said.
