Depends if it was a one way trip. If it was just for a visit I'd go back, find out how the pyramids were built, see a wooly mammoth, stuff like that. If it was to live the rest of my life I'd go forward, I'm an optimist and hopefully the future will be an improvement on the present!

I would rather go back, when things have already happened so you know what to expect. But imagine if you went forwards and found out something really horrible is going to happen. On the other hand you could always fiond ou the cure for cancer, bring it back and become famous, that would be fun.

I'd rather go back in time. When people had more Morales, schools had more discipline and families stuck together more when going through poor times. Id like to be in a time when families had to communicate more cause there is no t.v in the corner of the room that is constantly pre- occupying minds.

In the respect of the quality of life for me it would have to be back. However, for the children of the world I would say forward in the hope that a future world would be a better place for them to grow up in and prosper.

Forward, by all means. I would rather be surprised by what's going to happen than slog through all the mess I've been through before.

It would be nice to go back in time and fix all the mistakes I have made. Also, it might be a great adventure to go blindly into the future and see where I end up.

I'd like to go back in time.
My now husband and I are sure we've crossed paths loads of times before we got together.
We went to the same school, my grandad and his friend lived on the same street, I knew all his friends and we went out to the same places.
I'd love to know whether we have crossed paths. If we had I get together with him earlier so he could have met my grandad before he died. My grandad met a lot to me and I'd have liked his approval, although I know he'd have loved him.

But what would be much cooler would be to bring someone forward in time to now and watch them discover all the advances in technology. It would be fascinating.
