1)Wear gloves when u do manual work (like gardening, washing the dishes)
2)Apply hand-cream after washing ur hands

1. wear gloves when doing hosehold chores/gardening
2. dont use the nails as tools
3. apply cuticle oil every evening
4. apply hand cream regularly
5. advise on correct techniques for filing
6. always use base coat before polishing the nails
7. remove ploish with a gentle acetone free remover
8. return to salon regularly for manicures.
am presuming this is for an assignment? if so you might want to look at buying wither of the following text books - the encyclopeidia of nails, by Jackie Jefford & Ann Swain, or Beauty Therapy the foundations by Lorraine Nordmannn.

Keep them clean they are prone to infection from anything you get under your nail.
