The first "teacher" ? Well, an impossible question to answer, seeing as history isn't fully open to us.
Anyway - "mother", as someone said, isn't really a great answer. As bacteria was the first reproducing life on this earth, or so it is believed.
Nor is "Eve", as Eve is fictional. And even if you were along the right lines, surely Adam would be a better guess, as he was here first?
Anyways, it would be almost impossible to guess when teaching actually started, as the difference between innate knowledge and taught knowledge is huge. Innate is what you are born with and do not need to be taught. I.e. the turtles in their holes, once cracked out of their shells, automatically run for the sea for fear of predators.
Taught knowledge would be different - i.e. how to use tools etc. I'd guess at some post-jurassic park animal.. but pre-man. More than likely the monkey in my view - As there is proof that they can use tools, and they show their younglings how to also.

The early Scholars but I say it's my old teacher Mrs Day. She's still going and looks like she should of been the first teacher on earth. She's like Robo Teacher or something.

Be aware of the difference between instict and teaching.
Animals have instincts that they naturally have when born. Does the mother of a chick teach its chick to fly or does it just one day decide to take a leap of faith?
Same goes for us. A lot of ancient mans way of living was instinct, built in. I suppose the first thing taught would have been when captain caveman snatched away the foxglove his son was about to indulge in.

Well, institutions like schools haven't always existed. I'd imagine the first humans learned from nature and experience. Knowledge would have been passed down within the family and community.

How do we define "teacher"?
From a general point of view based on general perception of "teacher", we should speak of first teachers not first teacher. First teachers must be prehistoric.

You'll never get a correct answer for this. There's a lot of disagreement regarding who learnt what from whom?? So all I'd worry about is think about who was your first teacher? Was it your dad, mum, sisters, brothers, peers or just life itself ?? Everyones different !
