i have hair growth on upper lip, hands ,legs,below belly button and all..does that mean i have POS???i have regular menstrula cycle.

i have pcos and i dont have excessive hair growth at all.in fact the hair on my head falls out without medication.theres other symptoms to look out for such as being overweight...ladies with pcos generally hold most of their weight on their tummys.depression is another symptom.irregular menstrual cycle and difficulties falling pregnant naturally.maybe you just have a high amount of testosterone in your body.as do pcos sufferers, however before you diagnose yourself and start worrying it would be better to go to the doctors and find out for sure.they will do a blood test and test your hormone levels.they will also do an internal and external examination of your ovaries to see if their is an abnormal amount of cysts on your ovaries.go to see a doc.then you'll really know why you have excessive hair growth.some peoples ethnicity's can make them more prone to excess hair than others.like European nationalities.good luck.i hope this helps.
