One has a tendency to ask your self how each and every of the specialists race the mx2 professional classification even as each and every of the answerers on the following state their motorcycles both blow up or aren't any strong as they're 4 strokes. you opt to come across a bike that my would nicely have an interest even with the emblem and then google the shoot out for that variety and year to get the specifics of what the specialists theory driving and racing the bike. then you opt to be certain how this bike in certain has been looked after through the seller and how they serviced it. even if it really is a strong cost then you purchase. All motorcycles new are a beginning aspect and no man or woman races a inventory bike until eventually they ensue to be a raw newbie who doesn't understand any more beneficial positive. The very least a rider would do is have the suspension set to their personal desires and weight. used motorcycles may have had adjustments yet those adjustments will be certain to the rider and so received't healthful the used shopper. until eventually you're an A grade rider small ameliorations between the producers will pass surpassed over through you and so getting a nicely looked after bike at a strong cost is more beneficial significant than the emblem. All motorcycles have the flair to blow up if no longer looked after proper and four strokes aren't any diverse and actually no longer the ticking time bombs some advise. they're those who all started driving and racing back even as the dinosaurs roamed the earth and so have a ingredient about 4 strokes. Edit: The solutions on the following merely seem to get more beneficial positive and bigger positive. you presently have someone suggesting you get the crf250r because that's the race version of the crf250f. nicely Dah there is not any crf250f because the bike does no longer exist. those who're no longer suggested seem to trust that the bike exists yet in reality each and every of the 4 stroke 250's are stated as F fashions and Honda in worry-free words make the crf250r it really is the mx bike and the crf250x it really is the enduro version. merely shaking my head in amazement.

A KTM dealer would be a good place to start.

My local KTM dealer, http://albany.citysearch.com/profile/7561547/?brand=smx_yp-nc, had one in stock a few weeks ago.

Brooks Hamilton, Northeast KTM Dealer Support, rode an '07 model to the overall win at the Fred Bourne Memorial (Newark) Enduro in Fairville New York last weekend.

Its a lot more expensive than japanese models but it does have a bunch of really good parts. Its expensive for parts as well but all the new fourstrokes are. Dont know overhaul periods but Honda and Yamaha recommend changing crankshaft, valves, valve springs etc at around 30 hrs use (most people get a lot more as they are not professional racers)
As for the kid on 125, so what? I flatten 125's on OLD open class MX bikes (500 two stroke) with power output you couldnt dream of
twostrokes are going away in next couple of years so learn to ride a fourstroke
And I've won 500 class in enduro's on fourstrokes.

yeah but if u think 250 four-stokes are good. i beat one down on my 125 two-stroke. sure 4-strokes might be good on the mx track. but they suck in the woods.
