I keep getting this email from : MAILER-DAEMON@ yahoo.com

It says that an email that I sent to a certain address at yahoo.com can not be delivered. It has some info like when I sent it and the subject line.

The problem is...I never sent an email to this particular addressee. In fact I do not even know the addressee.

I have recieved this message 3 or 4 times now. All with a different subject line. All saying the same thing. That it can't be delivered to so-and-so and that my email address is the return path.

any ideas?

thanks

I get those once in a while when I send an email to someone and yahoo mail cannot deliver the message for some odd reason or other. It is a legitamate email that yahoo sends you when you try to send someone an email and it doesn't go through. However I cannot explain why you are receiving a failed to deliver email for an account that you didn't try to send an email too. Best of luck to you and yours and sorry I couldn't give you a better answer.

You sent a mail lately and the recieving address is incorrect or the account is no more existing or the host server for the receiving address is not active. Yahoo is just reporting all those errors to you.

Mailer-Daemon isn't really a person, it's just an automatic thing that gets sent to your email when the email address you send email to doesn't work.

I receive these type of email frequently telling that they are from yahoo. But they are not from Yahoo since they contained viruses. This is a kind of spamming I think.

i think you are sending mail from your outlook or from site...
wat you do is..
dnt sign in into yahoo account via website for few days
and the check ..
if the same prob continues then do the same with the outlook
if your are correct then leave assuch
else change your password in outlook as well as in yahoo...
then get on
if the same exits then contact the yahoo help
