actually slowly and gradually balaji started becoming a problem to the indian cricket team cuz he could not get out wickets and also his speed was not so well!!
when dravid became the captain he ousted him and also when chappel came in then he gave chance to new bowlers to experiment with the team and was successfull!!

He came in the team like a lightening. He showed promises for the future, but could not stay as injury forced him to leave the team. Now he is cured of his backbone problem. He played in the Chalenger trophy and took two wicket. He will soon be back in the team and will start firing, I mean taking wickets
