In today"s world a man or woman can live happily ever after even without being married. I have quiet a few friends that live together and are 100% sure they will never get married. My brother has always said he would never marry anyone and so he didn't. Marriage isn't as important these days too many people.

Why not. Countries like India needs less babies to control population. It helps if people didnt marry at the first instance.
Now you have the option to live together without marriage if you earn a lot.
Thirdly, you build on your career and become somebody, some day. So aim big and be free.

sure.. more or less like boyfriends and girlfriends living together... this would be good for the man.. because.. if he gets a divorce, the women takes none of his properties... would be good for the women because.... because..... ah.. i don't see the good thing for the women.. so, normally the women will wish for a marriage

to stay together(a man n a woman) is the way life is lived completely....marriage is smth man brought into picture.....ppl do stay single all their lives but they shud they r missing out on smth essential.....thts the way ur life cycle is complete n i think 2 live life 2 the fullest is wat everyone aims fr....so though men n women can stay alone, its foolishness on their part

were you aware that there is a statisic floating around out there that says men who get married live longer? of course you can live without getting married, but evidently men live longer if they do.
