i want to stay for two months and i find it exeptionally hard to find a not-so-expensive furnished room.

If you were trying to find a not-so-expensive room and had a hard time, I doubt you'll have better luck finding a free room! But try craigslist.com under the London Temporary Housing section.

in this site travelers (like me!) offer their houses, a luxury penthouse, some space in the floor, even a place to put your tent, to fellow travelers...
i´ve travelled and surfed other people´s couches... of course there is the free acommodation thing, but the best part is the people u´ll get to meet!
enjoy yourself in london... and be prepare for that lovely hard to believe how expensive it is city!

Welcome to the city! try Gumtree.co.uk, basically London is very expensive rentwise, you best bet is to fin somewhere slightly out of town, or even in the suburbs like Essex, where it only takes 20 minutes to get into london. Good Luck!

Dont outstay you're welcome, but try it, it's fun.
