With the Bush administration and his friends as appointees in political position's that only help them and other friends make bundles of money now and in the long term (big business)! It is proven day in and day out that the people of America are getting the short end of the stick. Union's and wages are going out the door and there does not seem to be any stopping it! People of America have to wake up and stop the selling of their country! If you don't stop them (his political appointees) you will not have law's that protect the workers!

WOW, magedon is fruitcake, do I need to research how screwed up your country is, I think not as the whole world know's that Bush is their bestest friend as he is giving away your country to the LOWEST bidder but his (Bush's) friends reap the reward. What type of research do you think I require! To have pity on America is something you must decide as you are the people that voted him in with fraudulent mean's as being reported on "CNN" and screw the "Fox" network as they are the catipult to the fraud's being committed! So I say to you, GOOD LUCK as the next 100 years in the USA will be pure "HELL" due to your so called commander and chief!

It is the current system and has been in place since the signing of the constitution. Do you ever study anything before you post a question or do you just assume you know?

Also, who are you going to transfer your hate to when Bush is gone, the new republican President?

I don't think there should be a law against it. It should go to the most qualified. Just because some one is a friend of mind I don't want to be forced to hire a less qualified person. That would be stupid. John Kennedy appointed his brother Bobby as attourney general and he did a good job, until that arab murdered him. But I agree with you whole heartily about DUBBYA and his hench men. Maybe some day the whole bunch will be arrested. We can only hope. After this election maybe Bob Woodward are some body can up with something to make these people testify before congress and get the whole bunch convicted of perjury. What a beautiful thought.

The entire premise of your question is wrong in that there is no such proof of such actions on the part of the administration. Nor is it possible for a single administration to do such damage to the economy.

That said. . . . . .

There have always been those in government who have acted wrong. That is why there are oversight committees in congress and in the States. Ultimately the people have control through the process of voting. That the people apparently don't vote the way you deem as correct, should tell you something. People are not the fools you seem to think they are.

By and large the people who vote do so with common sense and applied knowledge. If you disagree with the vote results, get involved and convince other people to vote the way you think is best. That means putting together real evidence and developing real solutions and selecting candidates who vote to support these directions.

Not the point. Never create a law which cannot be policed. How would you know? Therefore, the entire premise is moot, since such a law can't be created.

Simply put, never select a measurement (and a law is one) which cannot be measured. For instance, we could never have a law against too much money, since the "too" aspect is too subjective and variant. What you need to do instead, is frame your question into something manageable, such as "Will Congress ever pass a law which forbids the monetary pay and gift-giving of lobbyists, as measured by constant GAO oversight of lobbyist and senatorial records?"
