1. They do not need, or necessarily even WANT 'playmates'.

2. You should only consider another turtle if you ahve room and resources for both. Remember- to keep a turtle healthy, you need a BIG tank of heated and filtered water, aiming for about 10 gallons of actual water (not tank space) per inch of turtle.

The right-sized tank will help prevent bullying, territoriality, and other stresses.

well,if u can always get him a new little playmate if your turtle is not so big..some big turtle appear to be aggressive when a new turtle comes in..haha..i have my turtle(big) but i dont dare to get him a new playmate..

it depends on the type.

only I would think that your turtle might get annoyed or ignore the other turtle. I honestly dont know.

Sure you can. Just be sure the habitat is large enough for two and that the "new friend" is healthy. Good Luck and enjoy!

I do not think turtles play???? That would be more for your own enjoyment, wouldn't it?
