My BF doesn't go commando at home; he says his thing always ends up being caught in the zipper of the pants. So I bought him a pair of "slacks" without buttons or zippers so he can wear them commando and it's easier to get to the goods if the mood gets us!

He said he never did go commando in public, but he sometimes would like to do it at home just because he finds some mens underwear to be constrictive and gives much friction to his package, which he tries to avoid!

No it doesn't cause back problems, but it does sometimes causes front problems. How it hangs would probably have a lot to do with what hand it is usually 'handled' by and it's size.

Geeze, I've been doing this for nearly 25 years, I'm average and it doesn't cause any problems at all, most men hang either left or right.

Its the best thing in warm weather. Mine hangs to the right. No problems. Just don't get it caugth in a zipper and don't 'plop down' on them when you sit.
