Hey ya Coach -

If i were you, I would plan to use Excel.

In Excel, enter the characteristics you would like to track across the top row of the spreadsheet (ie. 40yd, weight, max_press, etc).

Then, enter date (time) information down the left hand column (could be day to day, or week to week, or game to game - whatever.)

Once those two pieces are in, enter in your data for that player. I would recommend one "sheet" per player. You can add sheets across the bottom of the page.

Once your data is in, you will use your mouse to select the entire chart.

Click on "Insert" in the task bar (top), and then select "charts and graphs".

Since you're plotting over time, use a line graph.

Click finish, and you should have a great chart to show your players.

Good luck -

Rob

I would use microsoft excel, it includes an easy to use wizard for plotting graphs. Other spreadsheet packages may also do the same tricks.

you simply have to input the data into the spreadsheet, then highlight and select the graph wizard(or whatever its called). It has to be arranged in the correct way(rows and columns) but its really easy. Good luck.
