I am a 16yo girl, and have always wanted to remain a virgin until I am married. But some of my friends have had sex. Should I?

I was a virgin when i married my husband and i was over 22. I feel it brought us closer together. I would suggest waiting I have never regretted it.

If you have sex before your married. There could be a hell of alot of problems. First of all you could get pregnant. Getting pregnant at 16 is really messed up! LIke really, really messed up. It makes your boyfriend/sex partner really guilty and that could cause depresion for something that big. You'd have to quit activities, your budget would be completly changed, balancing it with school, not as much time with friends. Being a single mother I've heard (I can't be I'm a guy and I'm not a teen father.) I've heard it's very hard. I once met a someone about your age who was raped and caused her to have a kid. She was tramatized, she couldn't leave the state, she had to quit cheerleading and she couldn't buy some of the things she wanted. Plus would you want to put the baby through the life of a single mother? No matter how nice she is? Wait till you get married then have a kid where it would be a celebration of life and joy. Not a huge burdon. Don't do what "the man" is doing. Do what you want to do! But having sex before your married is not a good move.

No. You should be true to your own values and principles. Don't be in a rush. Don't do it just because other girls are. You are a unique and lovely person with your own inner voice to guide you. Never betray yourself by doing what you do not want to do. Always use protection and practice safe sex. And remember, you will know when the time is right. No one else can tell you when that is but you and your heart.

there is no need using your friends an exuse to do it since you have chosen to remain a virgin till you are married. I think you should stick to that otherwisw, do it safe.

It's your choice. Don't let your friends pressure you into doing something that you're not ready to do.
I was almost 20 when I lost my virginity. I'm glad I waited that long, but occassionally I like to think I should have waited.

no, don't listen to them, why should you? there is nothing wrong with being virgin, you have to stay with your principle, that's nice though if u wanna remain a virgin till u get married.

YES! (that is to staying a virgin) DON'T HAVE SEX! And don't marry a man that isn't one. It's just wrong to give it to someone that couldn't wait. You will feel SO much better about this when that finally happens!

Don't be pressured by your peers. Only have sex when you are ready and not because everyone else is doing it.
