Someone finds salvation in everyone
And another only pain
Someone tries to hide himself
Down inside himself he prays
Someone swears his true love
Untill the end of time
Another runs away
Separate or united?
Healthy or insane?

To be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do

And even when you've paid enough, been pulled apart or been held up
With every single memory of the good or bad faces of luck
don't lose any sleep tonight
I'm sure everything will end up alright

You may win or lose

But to be yourself is all that you can do
To be yourself is all that you can do.........................................................................................................................................................AUDIOSLAVE

Your not crazed, i love soccar and watch some wrestling when i go to my sisters, i loved playing soccar and a bit of rugby when i was in primary school and still enjoy to watch it from time to time. You are who you are and should never change for anyone.
If you want to be able to talk yo your mates about stuff find out about the stuff they like and they should also find out about the stuff you like, if they can't accept you for who you are find friends who you have things with common with and can relate to, it seems hard but once you start talking and meeting new people it gets easier, but never change what you like because that's what makes you the person you are.

Did you see the movie "Bend it like Beckham"? The story involves a young English girl of Indian background who wants to play soccer. Her family and friends think she is crazy because she is not a "traditional hindu" girl. You don't need to change. Tell your friends that you "march to the beat of a different drummer". You'll find your niche eventually with people who have the same interests or think like you .Stay true to yourself, keep doing sports and eventually you'll probably outgrow this group of friends...

I think it's good that you have found what you like. Be yourself, be true to yourself. You will not be happy if you change just to try to fit in. But don't get too engrossed in your own activities that you don't know what is going on with others. Then at least you can talk about other things although you may not be crazy about them.

Your choices are:
1. Adapt to what is considered acceptable in your culture and forever feel like you denied your true self.
2. Be yourself and put up with the criticism of people who can't stand anyone being different.
Only you can decide which one is the lesser evil for you.

Be yourself what you are. Do not try to change yourself just because your friends think so. Make new friends with whom you love to chat about the things you like and also they have interest in these things.

hey wait up...you just said that they're your friends and one of a friend's obligation is to accept you for who you are right?and from your statemants i think that you're a boy...'coz if yes boys will always be boys and though it is like that every individual is different from each other so all i can say is to be yourself and just do it for the better...goodluck!

You shouldn't have to change. Your friends are suppose to like you just the way you are. You don't have to like the same things to be friends.
