er...no...loved the Littlest Hobo at a certain age, of course, but the theme..never. No. His later work was forgettable. If my memory serves me there was a full feature made late in the shows life without the original Hobo where the dog's acting pales. Similar problem with the Bond movies.

I love the theme to Cheers. It lets you know that everone has some hard times, and reminds you that there are those who care. I've never seen the Littlest Hobo, though.

All the 80's television themes were great. I collect them. Sandford&Son, Happy Days, Cartoons, Magnum P.I, Rockford Files, Cheers, and The Benny Hill Show.
I really like Cheers, The Great American Hero, Peanuts, Barney Miller, And St. ElseWhere. These kinds of Theme songs are legendary. And why not? They are also connected to shows that were just as great! They are statements of a generation, the 80's.

'Makin' your way in the world today, takes everything you got, taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot...'
Ah, yes. Good stuff.
My only bad memory of Cheers was triggered by my ex-boss, who was exactly like Cliff, but less logical.
(Never watched The Littlest Hobo, though.)

I don't know 'The Littlest Hobo'.
But as far as the 'Cheers' theme is concerned, no, I don't want to go where everybody knows my name. I prefer to remain anonymous, thank you.

Oh yes, it's a classic. About ten years ago I used to go to this pub every thursday and they would always play it as the last song. It made that pub our little cheers bar. It will always bring good memories.

You hear on tv and it's a comforting thought that you're not going to have to change the channel for half and hour, because even if it's not brilliant it's still gonna be okay.
