The first sentence that comes to my mind is: "Beauty is within."
I know a lot of teens my age who spent half their time applying makeup and come out looking like true strangers. Yet there are some girls who look incredibly beautiful because they don't dab themselves with make-up they just apply a bit and it looks natural on their skin. I irk at those who hide their true selves with makeup. Not so offencive about it but why insinuate ignorance to the beauty within. There are people who simply look into your eyes and see you for who you really are. As a teenager myself, I don't wear make-up... I don't get people calling me 'hot chick' but to those moments when someone says 'you're pretty and beautiful. You have such beautiful eyes.' those moments make me feel beautiful within and I'd never trade that at gun-point.

Don’t – or – The Less the Better!
I will probably be in the minority on this one, however, I really believe that most women are very beautiful already and do not need addition man-made products to increase what they already have (I think that I remember some old saying that beauty is only skin deep?).
Anyway, the other part of this is that given today’s drug and cosmetic companies, do we really know what is in the materials that we all use on a daily basis to “improve” our appearances or sensations for some perceived western marketing process?
If you must use beauty aids, then use as much organic as you can. There are many herbs available that can be used in a number of beauty or healthy recipes. One that I have come to really enjoy is Lavender (still somewhat hard to find in the USA). If you put lavender and aloe together, you have an extremely healthy skin product.

"Makeup" the real reason why women age faster, but look beautiful while using it.
The price most women are willing pay for beauty is aging faster, and diseases like cancers, etc...
