There are no regulations or standards governing smoking shelters in the UK. They can be made of almost any material (although I suspect hay or straw may be foolhardy!!)

The only regulations you need to meet are those of your local planning office and this depends on whether the shelter is partially or substantially enclosed.

Check with the local planning office for more information.

To my knowledge there is no regulations, however risk of a fire breaking out should be taken into consideration.We can still smoke at home.Wonder when they will bring a law in against that.Personally I believe they will not bring in a total ban against Tobacco products as they need the hefty tax duty which helps keep this country going.If they did ban it then non smokers would be hit with a hefty hike in taxes & it would be by any government.
