By definition, the average score is 100.

As the average intelligence changes (apparently it is increasing), the compilers of IQ tests have to change the tests to insure that the average stays at 100.

It's always a bell curve concentrated about 100, so 100 is by definition the average IQ

The world average is 100, in the USA the average is 98, Britain 101, and Norway 104. Personally I have done two IQ tests one gave me 79, the other 185, so I am somewhere between a retard and a mighty genius depending upon who tests me.
I have little truck with these tests.

Probably a range is better, since scores can vary from day to day. So a range of 95 to 105 would be average. The following website is very interesting since it shows what kinds of professions/trades people have with different IQ's. It also has links to tests, which you can try online for fun.

Mine is 136, I missed Guinness by 4 points which on the test i was taking was two answers. the average IQ is 100 because it is done on a bell curve and the average will always be 100. Technically it has no cap on how high it can go but 150 is just insanely high.

I would say 95 to 105. But why does it really matter!

If you are good at your job, I feel it is only you that matters, not your IQ.

Many top scientists have a low IQ, so it did them no harm. Be yourself, be confident, and if you have a low IQ, so what!
