also do you know how much of the lighted side of the moon is visible during the waxing gibbous phase, full moon, and waning gibbous?????

Waxing = increasing in size, becoming "bigger" until it reaches full moon.
Waning = decreasing in size, becoming "smaller" after full moon until it is completely dark.

... and then the cycle starts all over again ... and again ... and again.

Waxing - moon is getting bigger
Waning -moon is getting smaller

waxing is when the moon increases in size and waning is when it deceases.
