Yes, I know... interesting question. By asking this, I just am basically looking to see if I'm not alone. I've tried looking on several sites, but just end up with mostly male-to-female transsexuals claiming to be intersexed. I'm sincerely looking for some kind of community here. Maybe we could form our own group or something? I dunno... still, anybody there?

Just a note: Intersexual and hermaphrodite mean the same thing, essentially. Though at TRUE "hermaphrodite"--as the term suggests--is extremely rare. Most intersexuals are born with either/or a hormonal imbalance giving them androgynous traits or androgynous genitalia.

I can't register for Bodies Like Ours because of my Yahoo email address. I don't really have an alternative, either, because it's Hotmail and that's banned, too.

Try looking up gender rebel, or gender fluid, or gender queer. those are the terms most widely used for what I think you are describing.

Hermaphrodite is the term right, being born of both sexes? I once met a girl or guy or an inter sexual on here once but I've never seen a specific chat room or website for it, but I assume there has to be one. Try and google it and see if it comes up. Good luck honey, and you are not alone by any longshot, just unique and rare.

I am sure there are lots of people who have DSD, however, due to the narrow minded attitudes of our society, people may be shy about admitting to it (or admitting they may not know what it is....based on some of the answers posted previously). Also, a lot of parents may have had such conditions changed when the person was an infant, so they may not really realize they ever was or had it. Or they may realize but not identify.

However, What I really wanted to tell you is that you are not alone, whether you are unique in that way or not. Never alone my dear. :)

Sorry not me. However try searching on google or other search engines for "intersexuals message forums" I just did and several came up. So you will have to check them out and pick the ones you like. Good Luck! :-)
