i think its a good idea, however just how good it will be patrolled and maintained is another story. No I am not Mexican but I do believe that you should need permission and approval from any country before you come to it and if the fence is going to make it a bit more difficult for all the illegals to enter then Im all for it. Yes i would also work putting it up.

I don't know if the fence will do the job but I do know we have got to close the borders to illegal immigrants. They are costing this nation way too much money. We need to come down real hard on the companies that hire these people. I am sick and tired of hearing they will do jobs we won't do. We will do them but not for $5.00 per hour. Look at the cost of housing and builders have lots of illegals working for them and still charge way too much for a house. Low wages and high prices means lots of profit. The wall will provide some jobs but the bidders will want to use illegals on the wall so that they will make lots of money.

If I were a construction worker I would consider it.

I'm not Mexican.

If it helps better manage illegal immigration I'm all for it. I'm not a racist and definitely not anti-Mexican. I have a lot of Mexican friends and like the country--not its government, though.

Hell yes !
It's a start , only a start , Something we've needed for far to long .
Unfortunately , it does not go far enough .
It needs to be built to military standards for a defensive fence in a combat area .
