I'll let you know around 5pm (edt).
I will say that The Tigers do need this win today very badly. No doubt the good guys (Tigers) are in dire staits.
Justin Verlander needs to go out and just pitch. If he overthrows the ball and trys to compensate, then The Tigers will be in trouble.
No excuses for The Tigers. Just go out and play the game the way it was meant to be played, and may the Good Guys win!!!

Ugh, I'm sure the Yankees will win today because they pay for their team. They're all probably robots......
I would love to see Detroit win the series, but I think it's a long shot. Unfortunately, I think the Twins and Detroit will be out once the weekend is over...

Look for another lopsided score in the 7-2 range.
Mussina pitches great against Detroit...
And in Verlander's last start againt the Yankees he got battered around.
Plus Verlander hasn't pitched in a while... and if his control isn't there... the Yanks will wait him out and he'll end up throwing 100 pitches in 4 innings... and then it's into the middle relievers for easy runs.
Yanks take this series in three games unless the Big Unit's back locks up again. Then we take it in 4.

It really doesn't matter if they win by 100 or by 1. A win is a win.
