try looking at sites that are encyclopedias, these often give brief summaries of theories. also be careful to check the reliability of the site though, as some e.g wikipedia can be edited by anyone.
good luck

It took me almost a year to get through the Complete Works of Plato (it's much longer than a Bible). Even the Republic on its own is a long book!
You can buy summary books about most philosophers and I would assume most academic libraries are well stocked on them.
I would recommend reading A History of Western Philosophy by Bertrand Russell. It's well worth the read and covers everything in a general way.

Why not read books on western philosophy. It will do you better. I suggest you get books by Coppolson(Spelling may be wrong). He wrote a lot on western philosophy and you will enjoy his books. But for a short summary, you may consult books by Prof. Omoregbe. They are the best summaries I have seen in western philosophy.
But in overall, philosopers read and read and read, not just browse the web.
