This is because my friend who doesnt have facial hair, shaves a lot, like once every 3 days, now has a beard and moustache.

If this were the case, every time you shaved, the growth would enhance. This is an old wife's tale, ask a professional!!

Yes. Short answer: prune a bush, it will sprout. Long answer: yes it will make his already natural hair get darker and more thick, therefore more needed to shave even more as he gets older. Or he could use shaving to grow a beard when he gets older, the hair gets thicker, and grows faster, but maybe he's doing it on purpose???
