If you put the juice in first then the juice tastes weaker until you reach the bottom of the glass. As juice is heavier than water when you put the water in first the juice infuses all of the water equally to create an even taste

I guess it tasted different as you put in different quantaties of juice and water. The order put in will make no difference.
