I like making a big pile of leaves for my kids to jump in. This also makes great photo opportunities. We usually take those leaves & stuff old clothing to make a scarecrow. This year the kids want to make a family of scarecrows.

Raking and jumping. With a bunch of little kids, you rake up the leaves into a huge pile, then you jump into it and have a leaf fight.
