The republicans have always been gay-friendly. Certain segments of SOCIETY may be anti-gay but the party as a whole isn't. And no, not wanting gays in the military or not wanting gays to be married is not anti-gay. Perhaps you should talk to the Log Cabin Republicans, they can probably help you.
