dear Kiran,

if you are an Englishman, then Base ball is nothing but some rowdy copy of English Cricket . And the Cricket is sofisticated , played among gentlemen with lot of civilised -manners.
( hey match fixing is allowed, but under the table !!! )

if u r american - cricket is boring copy of Base Ball. u enjoy the base & ball with full force. use the round bat, u hammer the ball any way; ball must be invisible. that's the best shot.. Home-run..

hope , u enjoyed the differences....

many-ques!!!

The difference is in baseball you play on a diamond and run from base to base and not neccessarily running around all of them at once. In cricket, you run wicket to wicket and automatically get 4 or 6 with a home run. Scoring is also different as well as outs.

In Baseball, the player who's up for batting lifts the bat off the ground. In Cricket, the bat is kept on the ground.

The players run between the space of the stumps to score runs, whereas in baseball, they run in a diamond-type shape to score runs.

Base ball is a game played on a diamond shaped ground.
Where as cricket is played on a roundish type of a ground.
The bat used for baseball is cylindrical in shape
the ball used is also of a different type having stiches like a tennis ball sort of a thing.
