the problem is my ex husband wants to perform female circumcision to my daughter. i've reported it to social services. police and now we have a court which is ongoing. he denied everyting and saying he is against it!! he has a very good and experienced barrister. another problem is he is saying am the one who wants to perform it and since my daughter has been to Africa recently he is requesting the court to do a medical examination to my girl. This will traumatise her since she already knows whats going on. the social services have asked and talked to my daughter and they have rulled out the circumcision and said she is not!!! my worst fears is if the court will give my ex unsupervised visitation and allow him to take her out of the country and perfom this barbaric procedure i dont know how i will live with myself. another thing is i can not prove to the court that he actually wish this to his own girl. i did seek advise to CAB in London 2yrs ago regarding this issue, is that enough ev

he can't take her out of the country with out your permission, make sure you have her passport and that the authorities (ie home office etc) are informed that at no time do you authorise him to apply for another one on her behalf.
you do have all the right people involved, social services and the courts so he could be on a very dodgy wicket to try and do something stupid.
I believe this practice is illegal in this country, try and find a suppoort group on line for people who have been though similar situations.

This kind of treatment your daughter is receiving from you rex is barbaric! Today you can get small voice activated recorders that you can put in your pocket. Take one of these and hide it in your clothing if and when you see him. His voice will activate it and you will have proof of his intentions. Just don't take your daughter with you when you do this. Ignore the stupid people who say only boys get circumcised.
I would say to do what other people have said and trick him into saying something that you record, either put a recorder into your back and speak to him in person, or tape a phone call.

no trick him get him on the phone and record the whole thing dont be suspcious though just act mad and ask him why he would even think that anyway and get your proof that way

Oh my god, i didn't even know that this was possible. You must fight against him for as long as you can. I can't believe her own father wants to do this to his own child. It is disgraceful.
