I think there are different religions in India like most countries in the world. the most common that is well known among Indians being Hinduism (Hindus). The president of India is definitely not a cow but human like you and I. That some people in India worship cow according to you doesn't make their president a cow.

India has many religions. Hinduism is one of the main religions practiced in India. There is also Sikhism, Jainism, Islam,Christianity Buddhism, you name a religion and India has it. Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, and Jainism are all religions that originated in India
As for your second question..NO! Honestly, where would you even hear something like that? The current president of India is actually a human (of the male type) and his name is Abdul Kalam. But I think their real leader is Prime Minister..I could be wrong.. anyways the Prime minister is Manmohan Singh.

India has many religions, Hindu being one that's majority. Hindu is different from Hindi, which is India's national language. Hindi is understood in Pakistan too where it is called Urdu.
