A year or so ago there was a hazing incident in chicago, Illinois. Many girls were harmed and forced to eat feces..should hazing incidents as this one be charged as a crime especially, since it involved bodily harm..Alot of the details were vague just give me your thoughts...thanks

This sort of activity needs to be stamped out completely,otherwise it becomes institutionalised.It sounds like many other spheres of life are being influenced by this craziness.

Technically, yes, the Sorority can get in trouble. It is written by law (and signed by the head of the Sorority) that no hazing should be involved. I myself was a Fraternity member, and that is written in the books...but no one follows it....but our hazing was never that bad (it was more like Military things...pushups, steel chairs, etc...). The Sorority should be suspended and some members can be sued by the parents/individuals who received the hazing.

Yes it should be against the law and enforced as such.
It is technically assault.
This seems to be a power thing and proves nothing.
