Yes. I have a puffa jacket that has feathers in it. Wash at 40 degrees. make sure there are no little holes in it so the feathers cant get out. ........When wash is finished leave to dry natuarly for a half hour.......then put in the dryer on heat with a tennis ball. the tennis ball makes sure the feathers fill out in the right places again.

I have machine washed a duvet with feathers inside and it came out ok, although I would check the washing label first.

Of course you can machine wash jackets with feathers inside - it absolutely ruins them, but you can do it! If you want to make sure, wash them on a "white cotton" setting.
That has blown my "Best Answer" percentage, but I could not resist!

You want to wash a goosedown coat.
No. It's best to handwash a down coat in warm water with a gentle detergent, rinse it profusely, squeeze most of the water out by hand, throw it into the washer and spin the rest of the water out, then gently tumble dry it for about two hours on a low heat, then let it air dry on a plastic hanger for two or three days after all that.

I washed my winter coat, which has feathers inside it - I used a delicates washing product and washed it on delicates cycle. I shook it when it came out and it was absolutely fine. You can get a specialist washing product from places like Blacks or Snow & Rock, but I didn't bother.

not usually if you do the feathers will clump together. A trick is to through some small balls in there with them to bounce around in the dryer. This usually knocks the feathers a part.

I have in the past but sometimes the feathers get stuck in one area so you could end up looking like hunchback, probably best to take it to the dry cleaners
