if they are going to ask it im going to answer it for the benifits----it doesnt matter if we call it a chicken now-----something had to lay the egg----chicken or some weird bird from back in the day ------they are all related.

obviously the egg
through evolution a different type of fowl laid an egg that had mutated slightly to make a chicken.

obviously u dont have tothink about it so much cuz we know during the time of dinasaurs no chicken existed . but that time they laid eggs , so egg came first .
