need stiches?

cut my leg on a piece of glass sticking out of a garbage bag it is a 1/4 inch wide and about a half inch long. how late is too late?

well this all depends on what ER you go to...but you should be seen for tetnus toxoid injection to prevent infection of tetnus

the deepness of teh cut is what they look at to stich not length or width you should get a tetnus shot usually 12 hours is all you can wait before getting stiched unless it is grossly hugh and severe.
