Women go for power and money sometimes brings power. In the old days the most powerful had their way with whoever they wanted - same as animals nowadays. This enables the strongest genes to help the race survive. Can you imagine how long a race of George W Bush's would last on their own?
Answer is thus that the race will continue to be a mixture.

Rich men, ugly or otherwise aren't a species. They marry beautiful women because they can, because women are economically oppressed, whatever people may like to think to the contrary). Most women would choose to marry beautiful young men in their own group if they thought life would not be too hard on them (And many do, anyway!) There are also plenty of ugly poor men as there are handsome rich ones. (And probably plenty of babies who are not the progeny of their purported fathers, rich and poor!!)

No such thing as ugly, everyone is beautiful in their own way, but personality is what makes true love happen and not looks.

i think it is only the worst choice. some ugly men got beautiful (and rich) ugly women too and vice versa.
at least he have something inspite his ugly-ness, rite?
who knows he'll become handsome later (like in beuty and the beast?) lol

I know very ugly men that are not rich and still seem to be attracting really pretty girls. I have no idea how. (this one guy I know is BUTT UGLY and his wife is a model)
