In the past, squirrel was a delicacy! I don't care for them, I tasted it once when my northern country guy ex husband killed some, but I couldn't get their cute little eyes out of my (goofy female!) mind...same with deer! All I can see when I look at the meat is their gorgeous eyes...and the intelligence behind them. I'm not QUITE a vegetarian, but it's coming on. If I ever get friendly with a pig, I'm done with meat. I know they're intelligent, but I've never really met one. Other than my ex, and he didn't count. Was neither cute nor intelligent, but my mom liked him. I guess that's an excuse...

OMG NO not a squirrel but Ive had rabbit once mom made it and she told all us kids it was chicken and it did taste like it then at the end of the meal dad told us what it was and i pucked!

Yes, and depending on how it is prepared it is tasty, but IMO, squirrel is so sparse with meat, it is not hardly worth the effort to fix.

Yes, I have eaten squirrel, it is a little bland, but not bad. iIprefer it cooked over a campfire.

Yummy!! Although a little boney. Brown them 1st and put in a crock pot with some mushroom soup. So easy!

I have never eaten a squirrel.
I will never eat a squirrel.
But I do like green eggs and ham.

I never have but my ex-boyfriend used to kill and eat them quite often. I usually stayed away from his house on those days.

Yes! We shoot lots of them during small game season! They're delicious. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it.
