He is a boring preacher. Listening to him saps my energy.
Had to laugh when thier pond drained out this year.
We dug our clay lined pond at the same time and ours is great. Glad i did'nt listen to them.
Perhaps I could do the show, go on, pick me, pick me.
After posting this I've come back and read the other answers. Funny how several people say he makes them tired or wears them down...Maybe he is the devil !

Perhaps Monty is all go-go-go because "Gardeners' World" is only 30-minutes long, and the programme has to cover all their various projects, plus tips and advice on what we should be doing right now. For me, Monty is a master lesson on how to delegate mucky and strenuous chores to other people. He's quite talented at telling everyone else what they should be doing, but I've yet to see him complete a project, finish deadheading a border, etc., etc.

I think Monty Don , offers good ,practical advice , with the results readily available , no way does he make gardening appear to be a "Chore" , Programme makers must despair when these progs, are criticised , but lets face "Moaning" is the order of the day in our country ,as we know "You can,t please all of the people all of the time" but some you can,t please whatever you do

Bring back Alan Titchmarsh! As for Monty Don, can't stand the chap, he just sucks the life and fun out of my favourite pass time. I agree, he really does make it look like a chore when it's not.

I think he's great - he's so enthusiastic and relaxed about it all - and he obviously loves what he does. Mind you, he's not as dishy as Dan Pearson - mmmmm.
