I usually had to work on Thanksgiving but, as a kid, it was always big at my house, then my family disowned me for something that nobody remembers, a no-goodnik, an outcast, a nomad, a satlilite gone out of orbit, Now I have Thanksgiving off, my wife makes turkey, and associated "Nummy" stuff, and my little Man (he's 4 yrs old), and my dog Holly. Nobody speaks to me from my immediate family, I am listed as MIA whereabouts "UNKNOWN".
