following ovulation (over two weeks ago) This is now the first day of my period and it is still very high and soft, the bleeding is very light at the moment, more of a brownish colour. Could this be implantation bleeding? I know the cervix is supposed to drop and feel harder after ovulation, and during menstruation, so I'm just confused as to why it hasn't. Any similar experiences or ideas? It's quite difficult to feel as it's quite high, and is really soft.

Your body can change and still be normal. Are you concerned about pregnancy? The fact of the matter is, most women don't take the time, nor feel the necessity, to feel their cervix to determine whether there is a difference between ovulaton and any other time of month. Most women's cervix is also high and difficult to feel.

If you are bleeding, it means bacteria could pass into the uterus so unless you are wearing latex or rubber gloves it is not a good idea to touch your cervix (bacteria collects under the fingernails).

See a doctor if you suspect pregnancy... some over-the-counter pregnancy tests can be inaccurate.
