Has this happened to you?
I was in a huge line today at the post office and this man was ahead of me about 2 people and behind the first person in line about 8 people back..so we all had a while to wait. He was stomping his feet and sighing hard and making quite a scene, like whatever he had in his hand was more important than what anyone else was mailing. I watched as he stomped his feet one last time, and walked around everyone, went up to the counter in front of everyone who was waiting and put his stupid envelope on the counter and asked for his letter to be stamped and sent out..I couldn't believe it, what a jerk! So,not being able to keep my mouth shut, I yelled to him as he passed by me with a stupid smirk on his face " Are you happy now?" and I think I surprised him because he didn't think anyone would confront him, but he just answered with a dumb look on his face..well-dressed, well-groomed businessman type, not too important or he would have had a secretary mail his letters!

Okay, I think this guy was a spoiled brat!!! He acted like a 5 year old. It reminds me a lot of what happens at work...you don't get something delivered fast enough then the whole world will end. Why are people so friggen impatient and grouchy?? I just don't understand. If you are running errands and don't have enough time to do them, then place the errand on hold until the next day OR allow yourself more time to do the task you need to complete!!! I know long lines SUCK, but they are expected at certain places at peak times, and if that bothers somebody, then that person should go to that place earlier or later. If I go to the DMV with NO appointment then I PLAN on being their all friggen day!!! Same with the Post Office, if you go at a peak time or season, PLAN on standing in a long line and don't friggen wimper about it like a child. People are so irritating sometimes!!!

If you stop and think about it a moment, you really ought to thank that man. He gave you an opportunity to vent your rage, to feel holier-than-thou, and to tell a great story in Y!A. And it didn't cost you a cent. ;-)

how does that affect you ? was there lesser food on your table ?...... did you get a little less air to breathe ? as long as you will be engaged in these minor things.... your thoughts and ideas will remain small... inconsequential...... you have to rise above yourself..... engage in yourself ......
