heating with electricity costs the same for all heaters regardless of design or cost. all electric heaters are 100% efficient. it is a gimmick! replacing quartz bulbs on such a heater might be costly.
quartz heaters with exposed bulbs can work better if you let the light shine on you & heats u directly.your sunheat seems to be enclosed. seen those things go for $300! buys a lot of electricity when a $20 heater will be as efficient.
theres about 3100 btu in a kw of electric no matter how you burn it.

We've checked this product out because we were eager to buy one. They're encased in a cabinet smaller than a filing cabinet
still after having seen it and felt the heat coming from it, hard to
believe it could heat a 1,000sq ft area. Also if this product was
great as it claims to be why isn't it more widely available? I hope
you get a lot of responses I'm curious too.

I bought one last winter and the thing will run you out of the room its works great
