I am Canadian. I am sick and tired of the war and deception created by the US Government. I am tired of the US Government using scare tactics to bully other countries to conform to the 'American' way of life. I am sick that my fellow Canadians are sitting in Iraq, and Afghanistan dying for the war that was created by The US, and president Bush. I dont think its fair that my fellow Canadians are cleaning up the mess the US has made there. I am tired of the arrogance I find in some ( not all) American people. Who gave you the right to tell another culture how to live, who are you to tell them that the traditions these people up hold are wrong, or tell them they are pacticing the 'wrong' religion? I am truly sorry for the families who lost loved ones in the 9/11 attacks, and I am truly sorry for the families who have lost loved ones in the war. But when will it end? When will there be peace? It is one thing to send help, but another to take over a country for oil.

well love it is not just Canada that is involved there are many sodiers over there from all over the world including where i am from Australia. All I can say is that there has been many a war in history over lessa things than this. Soldiers know that when they sign up for the army that they WILL be called upon to go to war. Yes it is sad that the human race has not yet descovered a new way to sort out differences than by killing but unfortunetly I dont think they ever will. I am glad that Australia is over there because it makes me feel a little bit safer and it lets the other countries know that they cant just do what the bloody hell they like and get away with it. We live in a global community love you would be best to come to terms with that

I'd like to know who made you the judge on what is right and wrong you should take a long hard look at yourself before you start pointing the finger and blaming people there is no right or wrong in universal law, just what is .
Why did we have a second world war if the first was so bad?
the fact is people like yourself react to situations (i.e US gov etc)
because that is what the general western population wanted at that time and obtaining peace is just as simple when the majority want peace you will get it and all of this starts in your own home.

If you can understand Hitler went to heaven then you might understand that everything has its place.

PS why do feel sorry for those people who died?
do you feel sorry for every one that has died?
life would be much easier for you if you just concentrated on those close to you.

fact one: The USA does not create deception and war, they are most often asked to clean up other countries disputes.

fact two: The USA does dont use scare tactics to 'force' others into there way of life. Muslim civilians with body bombs on trains use this tactic. Muslim civilians in indonesia cutting off males genitals use this tactic.

fact three:Your fellow canadians are volunteers. Are you trying to use a scare tactic to bully others to your point?

Fact four: These FEW volunteers are not soley responsable for cleaning up this mess as you call it.

Fact five: Dont confuse arrogance with pride, its not my fault you live in a socialst country and have no pride.

fact six:Your quote 'Who gave you the right to tell another culture how to live, who are you to tell them that the traditions these people up hold are wrong, or tell them they are pacticing the 'wrong' religion?' This is the radical Islam motto! If your a radical isamist this is what you believe, live, kill and die for, not the USA

fact seven: Stability in this long troubled region has repercussions throughout the world and not exclusivly for the USA. You live and use oil like everyone else, The USA is content and encourages stability in oil producing nations, but when radicals use oil as a hostage they hold the entire world as prisoner. Would you prefer that north Korea or Iran takes control of this oil and decides how much to distribute to you each winter, if they allow it!

To answer your initial question I do not agree with anything you said and hope in the future you take a deep breath before you begin another tirade of untruths.

I am American. All but three of the hijackers entered the United States through Canada. If you are truly sorry for the friends I lost in NY and the Pentagon, then I expect you will help. No one says anyone is practicing the wrong religion, but if your brand of religion says it is ok to wipe my country off the face of the earth, then you should not expect for me to wait until it happens. There will be peace when other countries can prevent that from happening. Let's start with Canada.

I answered this question more fully in one of your three identical posts.

I feel the need to correct NVgirl on her unclear statement. According to Janes publications (Jane's Defense Weekly and a number of other publications, the premier authority on military actions and capabilities), there are approximately 70 Canadian military personnel in all of Iraq. Any other Canadians taking up arms in Iraq are private contractors, commonly referred to as mercenaries.

Simply being a journalist, and doing research does not guarantee that one will either determine facts or interpret them correctly.

I agree with you that a lot of US foreign policy has been flawed. I was against the invasion of Iraq from the beginning. The current administration has made many mistakes, but I don't think that they have made them intentionally. It's very easy to demonize the US as the "big brother" of the world meddling in foreign affairs while ignoring the great and selfless acts that this country and its people have done.

Ummm sweety...we have no active soldiers in Iraq if there are Canadians there, they are there as contractors and its because they want to make a quick buck. As far as Afghanistan, we are there as part as NATO, along with more than 2 dozen other countries. Get your facts right before you start your rant. If anything our soldiers are more fortunate than the US soldiers. Our soldiers are there because that is the career path they chose, knowing the risks...(no one joins the army thinking you wont be used) Half of these American kids are dying when all they wanted out of the army is a weekend a month and two weeks a year, and an education....look what they got out of it.

I STAND CORRECTED THERE IS 1 YES (ONE) DND MEMBER IN IRAQ PART OF THE UNITED NATIONS ASSISTANCE MISSION FOR IRAQ(UNAMI)-CTV AND DND

Perhaps you would then answer this question:

If you were to have your way, what will you say after the next 9/11?

Would your answer be the same if the terrorists next hit Toronto rather than New York?

Yeah, Americans hit the mother lode of oil in Iraq. I wonder how low their gas prices are now. Oh wait, I drove a cab in America for the last 2 years and couldn't afford the gas. Go figure. I have one thing to ask anyone questioning what America did in Iraq. Would you want your family, brothers, sisters, mom and dad living under the rule of Saddam? The problem with this world is we have no empathy. You should look at a woman and be able to see your sister in her place. I remember Saddam putting women and children in power plants as protesters, as if daring the U.S. to bomb his plant and killing civilians. The problem is no one wants to let go of hate. Too many people wanna f-ing kill eachother, and it's retarded as hell. *sigh* Oh well, God will fix it, He did in Noah's day.

I agree with you. The world will be a lot better if the Americans leave all countries to govern for themselves, instead of creating and then acting to solve those unsolvable problems! The aquisition of WMD also has been dispproved.

Telling that Sadam killed many of his own people does not stand a chance, as the sentence itself says. "his own people" For that matter one can find many Americans accusing Bush of various charges. Does it mean that someother countery can walk in to US and do as they please? Will Americans accept it?

Why not attack Saudi, from where Osama came, or Pakistan which is producing almost all terrorist operating in the world? They wont, because Saudi gives oil, but what does Pakistan give? I dont understand!
