I used to have birthday parties for my dog. But then any excuse to have a party, right? I invited family members that had dogs, and yes, some of them would bring presents. As far as his parents go? I doubt they will be upset if they ever find out they were left out of the festivities.

I think you should take him to the park for the day with a picnic basket filled with all his favourite snacks. You can play ball and I'm sure he will enjoy it very much. A party will be a little chaotic. The dogs will most probably fight and get out of hand.If you want to buy him a present, buy him food and nice snacks and toys and give him alot of attention, because as we all know know dogs love attention, love and food.I dont know if you are being serious, but if you are, I think it is really sweet that you want to make your dogs birthday a special day and you treat him so well.

I would definetly invite other dogs over so there would be a lot of lickin and smellin .... as far as the presents go I think the barkin' lickin' smellin' would make His/Her Day........ From West By God Virginia""""""""""

think of all the poor people in the world who die of hunger, and then decide if you still want to have a party for your dog.
