i have tried winzip and winrar both did not work

Apparently, you are not having Windows XP on your computer, otherwise *.cab files should show like just another folder (except for the right-hand mouse click functions).
I am surprised that WinZip doesn't work, but with games, you'll never know .....
Here are 2 alternatives you can try:

1) BitZipper is an archive manager that lets you open Cab files and 17 other compressed and encoded file formats. It can also create archives using most of these formats, and it's a fast and flexible backup tool too! See more at:

2) Alpha ZIP integrates handling of Cabinet files and many other compressed file types right into Windows Explorer, so you can work with these files in exactly the same way as ordinary folders. Click on a Cab file in Windows Explorer with Alpha ZIP, and it opens like a folder to show the contents. If there are sub-folders inside the Cab file, they can be explored just like normal sub-folders. Alpha ZIP gives you extra Explorer context menu items to make working with Cab files faster and easier.
