NC State is looking better each week and I think they might just pull off the upset. TCU/Utah could go either way but since you say Utah has the homefield advantage and the point spread is so small I'll pick Utah.

I hate both of these games. I'm perfect so far on the first 2 games this week, plus I got the over lastnight.

If I go with my gut I say N.C. State covers the 11.

a) It's at home where they just beat Boston College
b) Florida State isn't the great Florida State they use to be.
c) N.C. State is the only Atlantic Coast Conference team with four wins against Florida State since the Seminoles joined the league 14 years ago. Three have come under Amato, now in his seventh season at his alma mater after spending the previous 18 years at FSU as an assistant to Bobby Bowden.
d) I don't see a real high scoring game, more defensive, thus easier to keep it close.
e) I like the under (39-40 point total).

TCU at Utah, I prefer TCU.

a) Utah has gotten alot of their points from their defense. They struggled against Northern Arizona in the first half and finally got it going in the second half to pull away. TCU is a much stiffer competition than the likes of Utah State, San Diego State, or N. Az and Utah was spanked by UCLA.

b) Gut says TCU and I'll take the extra 3 points to seal the deal.

Boy, did I blow....only got the NC State thing right. Went over the total though, I guess a 6-point teaser would have won there.

TCU just stunk it up.

FSU. Desperately need a win and a win over an ACC chump should lift their spirits a bit. TCU. High powered offense against a Ute team that's not as good as it was with Alex Smith and Co. at the controls.
