when a person gets an idea which is novel, or when he experiences the beauty of a flower or river or a woman, man, or when he sees the miseries of the down trodden people or when he is moved by the atrocities committed by the ruling class and imperialists, religious fanatics, his heart and brain command him to take pen and all his ideas take the form of poetry.

That comes from the heart and mind together my Late Brother was a famous poet my Mom was a poet my niece is a great poet and I also have been published as a poet I guess maybe it runs in the family you think..?
Really poerty is
a special way of feeling when you write, that you become your words ,and give life and feelings to them and if this is what you like to do . Cheers to you up, up, and away.

i write a lot of poetry, i've even had a few published. just write from your heart and soul, spill your guts out. you don't have to use weird phrases. it doesn't even have to rhyme, i find that making it rhyme compromises what you really mean to say. write what you mean and mean what you write. write about whatever inspires you. things you feel strongly about. not every poem you write will be amazing. Ernest Hemingway once said "I write one page of masterpiece to ninety one pages of shi.t" even though he's not a poet, it's worth remembering.

Poetry is a form of art. You write down whatever the hell you want to, and make sure it comes from your heart.
