I assume that the 10K is budgeted for the stay and meals and small local travel only. To reach the destination, you will spend some extra money. I also assume that this amount is budgeted for a single person only. With these assumptions, I suggest as:
1. Go to Himachal Pradesh- either in Mcleodgunj area i.e. Dharamshala. It's a beautiful town full of tibetan atmosphere. Around Mcleodgunj, several small walks and treks can be undertaken. It has clear environment. You can even visit it in snowfall season.
2. Go to Himachal Pradesh- in Chamba. Beautiful ancient temples, museum. Around Chamba, you can visit Dalhousie and Khajjiar and many small towns having ancient temples et al.
3. Go to Goa. Best beaches and in old goa you can visit, old temples and churches. Food is great, too.
4. Go to Maharshtra. Beaches, temples, hill stations, old forts, buddhist caves et al. Select your theme and then ask another question in this forum.
Bon voyage.
