Influenza is a respiratory illness. Symptoms of flu include fever, headache, extreme tiredness, dry cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, and muscle aches. Children can have additional gastrointestinal symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, but these symptoms are uncommon in adults. Although the term "stomach flu" is sometimes used to describe vomiting, nausea, or diarrhea, these illnesses are caused by certain other viruses, bacteria, or possibly parasites, and are rarely related to influenza.

Many people who say they have the "flu" don't actually have it. They have the symptoms, which are awful, but they don't have the full blown flu. I have been tested and had a postive answer for the flu and it lasted 4 weeks. I thought i was going to die. There is meds if you test positive to help the symptoms. As for your arm, I would get that checked out. It could be a zit(yes they can be painful) it is almost like a cyst, and they can drain it, but it could also be an infection. Either way I would get checked out. Hope you feel better really soon. Those symptoms DO NOT sound fun! :(

sounds alot like the flu or could be a cold. The main difference is that the flu last longer and you usually will run a fever too. Hope this helps!!

definitly could be the flu. stay in bed get plenty of liquids and get some of that thera flu. drink hot tea with lemon and honey. stay warm, put on some socks and sleep in them. you'll feel better in a few days. if you're old enough put some brandy in that tea. you'll get plenty of rest that way.

This can be just about anything going on with you. Please see the doctor. The lump may be swollen glands and it may be something worse. If you are sick you really need to be seen. This does sound serious.

With all those symptoms, why haven't you already gone to a doctor?
Oh, I know ... you're waiting to see a medical specialist ... a coroner.
Go to a doctor.
